Two RGK products receive the "Product of the Year 2023" award

On 13 August 2024, the award ceremony of the Latvian Merchants Association "Product of the Year 2023" took place at a gala event at the Apollo Star Lounge cinema (Akropole shopping centre).

Each year, data on total sales is collected by identifying the most popular and most preferred products for everyday purchases. Based on this data, the Latvian Merchants' Association has been awarding the trademark "Product of the Year" since 2003, naming the most purchased goods.

This year's winners are also products from the Rēzekne Meat Processing Plant (RGK): 'Knakeri, semi-dried sausages' and 'Doktordesa, top quality'.
Both are among the first products that RGK started to produce at the very beginning of its foundation. But over time, demand for them has only grown and they have gained both customer acceptance and a foothold on the market.
