Several products of Rezekne meat factory have been granted with the National food quality scheme (NFQS) and indication “Qualitative product”, called unofficially “Green Spoon”. It is a trade mark of the product that provides its origin and high-quality:
1) fresh and chilled meat from Latvia is used in the production;
2) do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMO);
3) mechanically separated meat and food additive-free;
4) contains less than 1,25g salt per 100g of product.
Certificate “Green Spoon” is granted on the basis by Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No.461, 12 August, 2014.
